PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Our people make all the difference! We are looking for an Operations Team Leader that enjoys process as well as building and coaching employees! In this role you will lead by embracing our People Vision; ensuring our teammates are safe, healthy and fulfilled every day. You will be responsible for safety, quality, productivity and accountability for a crew of forklift operators. The schedule provides 3-day weekends every other week by supporting your dedicated crew on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6am-6pm.The Operations Team Leader position is an on the floor leadership position for each crew of operators that spends the majority of their time operating a forklift.

WHAT YOU WILL PERFORM ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Motivating teammates with coaching, feedback, and recognition
• Conducting effective team and individual meetings regularly to improve communication flow
• Scheduling and adjusting warehouse personnel to optimize service, productivity and teammate fulfillment
• Approving time and attendance for employees
• Ensuring compliance to all safety rules and guidelines for all teammates
• Performing other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY:

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or equivalent direct work experience leading people and processes
• 2+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Effectively coach team performance
• Results driven
• Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be team-oriented and safety conscious
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Must be able to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp lifts, box clamps, etc.
